About

WiZmans World Re;Try is an HD remaster of Jaleco's cult classic JRPG, originally released in 2009 for portable consoles. Developed by Lancarse, it brings fully overhauled pixel art visuals, a rearranged and newly composed soundtrack by soLi, and a modernized UI — faithful to the original in spirit, rebuilt for today.

The city of Wizarest has been cut off from the outside world for over a century. Its inhabitants have lost all memory of who they are and where they came from. They know only the dungeons that surround the city, the monsters that dwell within them, and the magic needed to survive. Generations have tried to find a way out. None have. Now, a new wizard enters the dungeons — determined to break the cycle.

Combat is turn-based and rewards careful planning. Use the timeline to read attack order, track enemy HP, and exploit the elemental wheel — Water beats Fire, Fire beats Wind, Wind beats Earth, Earth beats Water. Chain attacks amplify damage and unlock bonus effects. Your three homunculi companions can fuse with defeated monsters through Anima Fusion, inheriting their stats, skills, and appearance to grow stronger as you progress.
