About

Trash Goblin is a wholesome, cozy shopkeeping game with no pressure, no fail states, and nothing but good vibes. Set in the whimsical fantasy metropolis of Silver City — a sprawling urban sprawl perched above a seemingly endless chasm — you play a tiny goblin tasked by your suspiciously generous friend Aimon with running a trinketeering business. What starts as a simple life of digging and selling slowly unravels into a story involving cursed furniture, mysterious debts, and a cast of 36+ unforgettable characters.

The core loop is simple and satisfying: chip away at dirt blocks to unearth hidden trinkets in a Picross-style excavation mini-game, scrub them clean with your sponge, then upcycle them by combining items together to increase their value — sometimes creating bizarre and wonderful chimeras in the process. Sell your creations to a rotating parade of quirky customers, each with their own personality, stories, and requests.

As you earn money, invest it back into your shop. Upgrade your chisel into specialized variants like the Lance or Cross for more efficient excavation. Unlock the Coffee Pot for extra daily time, upgrade the Soak Tub to clean multiple trinkets overnight, and expand your shelves and display space. Decorate your workspace with wallpapers, bedclothes, and plants — because it's your shop, and it should feel like it.
