:: TRAMA ::

Lily e Amanda sono amiche d’infanzia e si ritrovano nella periferia del Connecticut dopo tanti anni di lontananza. Lily è diventata una raffinata adolescente alto-borghese, ha frequentato un college altolocato e il suo curriculum vanta esperienze altamente qualificanti. Amanda ha sviluppato uno spirito acuto e un bel caratterino, ma è sulla via di diventare una disadattata. Sebbene inizialmente sembrino in totale disaccordo, la coppia trova un forte legame nel disprezzo che Lily prova per il suo opprimente patrigno, Mark, e mentre la loro amicizia si consolida, contribuiscono reciprocamente a far emergere le proprie tendenze distruttive. Le loro ambizioni le portano ad assumere un truffatore locale, Tim, e a prendere in mano la situazione per raddrizzare la loro vita.
