Tre galeotti, evasi dal penitenziario dell'Isola del Diavolo, arrivano in una famiglia francese dove tutto va a rotoli. In due giorni sistemano ogni cosa. È un congegno teatrale (da La cuisine des Anges, 1952, di Albert Husson) che non ha trovato né uno sceneggiatore né un regista adatti: tutto funziona – gli interpreti, il dialogo, l'ambientazione – tranne il racconto che non ha né ritmo né invenzioni. Rifatto liberamente nel 1989 da N. Jordan.
