TRAMA

Nick Naylor (Aaron Eckhart) è il portavoce della Big Tobacco. La sua funzione principale è quella di combattere contro i detrattori delle sigarette convincendoli che fumare non è poi così negativo. I suoi amici sono i lobbisti dell’alcol e delle armi, è buon padre di famiglia, separato dalla moglie, ma adorato dal figlio, e poi ama il suo lavoro. Tutti gli danno addosso, e lui si difende con maestria, favella e arguzia. La sua vita fra minacce, capi poco efficienti che "provengono dai distributori automatici", e problemi quotidiani è tutt’altro che semplice.
