Nel 1959-1962 la carriera di Ray Charles era nei cieli e questo set definitivo preparato da Joël Dufour attinge al periodo più intenso delle registrazioni di Ray. La capacità di "The Genius" di produrre nuove cose artisticamente non poteva più essere giudicata secondo gli stessi standard, con Ray che mostrava un raro eclettismo. Esprimendo il suo talento senza riserve, ha consegnato i suoi più grandi successi, da "Georgia on My Mind" a "Hit The Road Jack" e "Unchain My Heart"...
