TRAMA

Un criminale mediocre di nome Graham Bricke decide di organizzare un grosso colpo insieme a un famoso gangster e una hacker del mercato nero prima che il governo degli Stati Uniti metta in atto la soluzione finale contro la criminalità: un segnale trasmesso nell'etere che impedisce alle persone di commettere atti criminosi.

Il film è ambientato in un futuro non troppo lontano dove il governo degli Stati Uniti ha trovato la soluzione perfetta e definitiva al terrorismo e alla criminalità: l'emissione di un segnale che influisce sulle onde cerebrali delle persone impedendo alle stesse di commettere atti criminosi. In pratica la pace del paese pagata con il prezzo del libero arbitrio. Prima che il segnale venga trasmesso, Graham Bricke, un criminale di carriera che non ha mai toccato l'apice della carriera di fuorilegge, decide di organizzare una grossa rapina.

Per far sì che il piano vada in porto si associa con un famigerato gangster di nome Kevin Cash e una famosa hacker del mercato nero, Shelby Dupree. Insieme pianificano i dettagli di quello che sarà l'ultimo, grande, crimine nella storia degli Stati Uniti.
